Kite buggying - boarding: West Wittering
Wind Direction: sw - wsw
Wind Stength: 10mph
Surf / Sea State:
Air Temperature: 18
Sea Temperature:
Weather: A bit drizzly to start but sunny later
Max Speed: 33.6 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 26.7 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Went there as I had the day off work on the basis of a 8mph SW forecast. It was a bit drizzly to start but brightened up later, I got the 5.5m out and got some good runs in. Arrived 30 mins before low tide, beach was slightly damp but still very hard. Beach was nice and quiet so I got some good long runs in and a pretty respectable speed given the lack of wind, I could have held the 7.5m but was happy cruising with the 5.5m. I am still having troubles with turning when I am going over 2 times wind speed as the kite just luffs when I turn, need to work on keeping tension in the lines.

The GPS batteries died at some stage so I covered more miles and maybe went even faster than the stats.

Packed up at exactly 3 hours after low tide and took a walk round East Head in the sunshine before heading home.
